Orders exported to countries outside of the European Union, or the countries listed above, are normally sent via DHL, Fedex or UPS. The shipping cost of these orders is calculated on both the weight and volume of the package. To ensure our customers receive the best rates, we check the shipping price of every export order with each of the major couriers, which requires these orders to be processed off-line.

If you would like to receive a quotation for any our products, including delivery to a non- EU country, please contact our concierge department with details of the pieces you require along with the delivery address.

Determining the size vessel, which will best suit your needs, is relatively simple.  Think in terms of volume rather than weight measurements.  Consider the recipes you normally prepare and the number of people you cook for on a regular basis.  Have a look at the recipes you intend to use and add the amount of volume to determine how much liquid and dry ingredients you’ll be placing in the vessel in total.  You will need a vessel that accommodates these ingredients with extra room to spare.  Never fill your vessels to the rim in order to avoid over spilling.

The mini cuisine we offer is strictly for one serving portions, the small pieces generally serve for a simple sauce, small amounts of liquids, melting chocolate, or preparing a dish for one.  The medium vessels are ideal for 2 to 4 servings, and the larger vessels accommodate ingredients for family and larger servings.

We have three cookware sets assembled in cooperation with professional chefs. Each of these Falk Culinair sets is available at a reduced multi-piece price. Please click here for details of the cookware sets and discounts. Should you wish us to assemble a set which includes different pieces, please contact us to discuss how we can meet your needs and provide you with a set of your choosing at a multi-piece discount.

We can indeed help you assemble a set designed to your personal preferences. Simply contact us on our website and we will be happy to help you assemble a set containing the pieces of your choice at a multi-piece discount.

The inside of our copper frying pans are not coated with a chemical non-stick polymer.   As with all our cookware, the linings are stainless steel.

You can however enjoy the benefits of a non-stick pan, without the disadvantages of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), particularly the noxious fumes this gives off under high heat.

Periodic seasoning of the stainless steel will ensure that foods such as eggs do not stick at all.

To achieve this, please follow these steps:

  1. Wash the inside of the pan with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
  2. Now put the pan on medium to high heat to warm it for about two minutes.
  3. Add 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and roll the pan so that the oil coats the bottom and the lower part of the sides.
  4. Allow the oil to heat until it shimmers and starts to smoke.
  5. Now remove the pan from the heat and wait for this to cool.
  6. Once the pan has cooled, pour away any excess oil, and wipe the inside dry with kitchen paper.

After use, clean the pan with water only.  Soap or detergents will remove the oil that has penetrated the surface of the stainless steel, and which makes it non-stick.  If this is necessary, just follow re-season your pan by repeating the steps above.
